Frequently Asked Questions

How much time should I allocate?

The appointment typically lasts 45-60 minutes depending on the complexity of your situation and the number of questions you have.

Is there a fee for the initial consultation?

No - there is no fee for this time we spend together. You will never receive a bill from our company unless you agree to engage in financial planning services.

What happens during the meeting?

After we have an understanding of your desired outcomes, we will explore your personal situation and the details of your financial picture to determine if and how we can assist you.   Your advisor will provide a summary and recommend services appropriate for your situation. The last step is to determine if there is a mutual "fit" to engage in a working relationship and discuss the next steps to getting started.

What happens after I decide to engage in a financial planning relationship?

Once an agreement and deposit is received, our team will begin working with you to schedule your initial planning appointment and gather the requirements necessary to complete your plan analysis. Clients using our Wealth Management System will receive guidance for using their new personalized website.

How long is the financial planning proposal good for?

The quote is good for 30 days from the date of the initial consultation.

Who should be attending the meeting?

If you are married, our policy is to request that both spouses attend the initial consultation.

What are your office hours?

Office hours vary by each financial advisor. Visit your advisors bio from the Meet the Team page to review your advisors office hours.
